Port Atwater Parking is about 3 blocks from Cobo with a skywalk to the Ren Cen People Mover Station which is still 50 cents to ride and will stop at Cobo. To get the discounted parking pick up a Port Atwater discount validation ticket at the Detroit Fanfare registration desk. Upon exiting the garage first insert into the pay station your original parking ticket, and then insert your validation ticket which will reduce your daily parking fee to $4.

Al graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in art and design and moved to New, interning with legendary artist, Murphy Anderson, Al worked with Jim Starlin, inking Captain Marvel and took over penciling the book when Starlin left. He also inked then penciled Master of Kung Fu and the Guardians of the Galaxy. During his brief tenure at DC he co-created Firestorm with writer Gerry Conway. A year later he shifted his editorial duties over to Marvel and created Marvel Fanfare, a comic which pioneered the high quality format so prevalent in the industry today. He wrote, penciled and/or inked virtually every character they produced—most notably Spider-Man, The Avengers, West Coast Avengers, Thor, Thunderstrike and X-Factor. Nowadays, he works as a freelancer primarily for Archie Comics.
